About Us
Who Is Icy?
Started in 2018 by founder Manik Kundra, Icy began as a vintage clothing store offering pieces that brought nostalgia from the previous decade. Today, the brand combines vintage with forward-thinking designs for those who wish to surpass the ordinary.
How Icy Was Born
Inspired by a Toronto slang saying that refers to people with style, Icy was born. This passion led Manik to vintage clothing and encouraged him to start Icy as a university project to cover his school expenses. Icy sold vintage clothes he found in vintage stores, or sold by wholesalers. That was the beginning of a story that made Icy the company it is today.
The First Warehouse
In 2021, Icy opened their first warehouse in Scarborough, Ontario. It was a 4000 sq. ft. space serving as a showroom, inventory, and their office.
Moving Forward
Inspired by world-famous figures, Icy designs garments where celebrities, artists, and athletes are the protagonists, creating art through icons. In March 2023, Icy launched their first collection of printed t-shirts. The products quickly gained virality on social media while achieving one more milestone – entering major department stores like La Maison Simons. In 2023, Icy continues to grow and evolve while remaining the ultimate destination for vintage pieces and graphic t-shirts.
